@Clare: It really is hard to beat OKC's finest.

Godstick and Shamecave. Dammit, Jon Stewart, you just slayed me.

@Slothrop: Yeah, let's calm down a bit. There's a nice soothing image that appears every time you refresh the post, so that should help.

Having not watched this apparent gangrape of Will, I'd still like to comment. I think that the problem with Will's usual defense is that he tries to straddle the line between serious and humor too much. It's hard to claim serious legitimacy while at the same time using the "I'm just a dick joke guy" defense. I

@pr0FF3ss0r_j3rkwh3at: The one problem I'm having with the game right now as my friend plays it is that at the end of each race they have a quick bit of music with a couple of hi-hat hits, and every time I hear it I think Built To Spill's "Goin' Against Your Mind" is about to start. And since it never comes, I get

@TattooedMess(iah): In other words, smoke and mirrors and it's not going to last. But I'm enjoying it right now (especially with their record still being better than that of A-Rod's team).

@TattooedMess(iah): I haven't seen a Marlins game yet this year, but I keep checking the box scores. How are they doing it?

@pr0FF3ss0r_j3rkwh3at: Been playing that today, and it's quite enjoyable. It's weird getting used to steering, however, but it definitely seems like a fun game.

@Dr. Michael Mancini: I think Baldwin goes number 1, followed by either Hanks or Walken. I haven't seen enough of the older ones with Steve Martin to make an informed decision however.

@josereyes.theroof wishes to perform Tim Harris's sack-dance...: Everything about Cyprus has been about getting marginal actors involved. The only reason that it became an independent state was because of Britain's insistence on doing so, trying to play the Greeks versus the Turks on this issue (there hadn't been

@chilltown: The most egregious example that I remember was a proposal for a rotating Greek Cypriot/TC presidency of two years each (though that particular one was not in the Annan plan). I mean, that's mind-bogglingly stupid.

@josereyes.theroof wishes to perform Tim Harris's sack-dance...: The way I see it, get the troops off the island first, then place a moderate quota system in place (not 50% across the board—that's ridiculous, considering the Turks are a less than 20% minority (discounting illegal immigrants)), and if the Greeks ever

@josereyes.theroof wishes to perform Tim Harris's sack-dance...: The problem was that the final "One Cyprus" solution that Annan proposed was a total joke for the Greek side. Among the concessions were Turkish troops remaining indefinitely on the island, ridiculous quota systems for maintaining "equality" for various

@thefuseproject: You are pretty correct. But, for the record, there were far less restrictions for Turkish Cypriots to go into the Greek side (they could work there, gain an EU passport, and more), than it was for Greeks to go into the other side.

@josereyes.theroof wishes to perform Tim Harris's sack-dance...: Yeah, I don't thank any Greek Cypriot wants that kind of solution (and neither do most Turkish Cypriots). It's only the hard-liners in the TC government (and the Turkish gov and military) that push that kind of position for their own gain. I could go

@She Blinded Me With Violence: I'm enjoying seeing Bass make a huge leap this year. He really should've stayed in school. If LSU had kept him, Glenn Davis, and Tyrus Thomas all 4 years, they would have had quite the run.
