@What would Kornheiser do?: That Dartmouth-Army matchup might be the worst thing ever broaodcast. It boggles my mind.

The fact that Charles Barkley doing geography does not top that list is a traveshamockery of the highest order.

I always love reading about the good work that Warrick Dunn does. I still remember him from his days playing high school ball in Baton Rouge; he was always a class act.

@chilltown: That's probably the case. I can only imagine what would have happened if he stayed, teaming up with Glen Davis and Tyrus Thomas. Man, those would have been some great teams.

@chilltown: He didn't exactly "flame out" of LSU—he won SEC Player of the Year before he declared. He just was stuck at the end of the bench with the Hornets before signing with Dallas.

You cannot stop the Blazers. You can only hope to contain them.

Ahh, here was the mention of the Blazers. Thanks!

6 wins in a row for the Blazers. Just needed to be mentioned.

Yeah, but does George have an honorary doctorate from Knox like Stephen T. Colbert?!

And as an LSU fan, this one particularly makes me smile:

This one is pretty good, because accents are always funny:

@Wee_Evans: That's what's missing from Loveline these days.

@LingeringBursitis: I'm not the biggest baseball fan, so I have no idea who any of these are. I just have to rely on the fact that the Marlins' scouting department has been awesome so far in finding those prospects in these sell-off trades (like they did with Dontrelle).

As one of the 5 people that actually watched that Blazers-Grizzlies game, I just want to mention that it was quite exciting. Outlaw really shined on the possession earlier, where he saved an errant pass from going out of bounds, got the ball right back and drilled a three.

I'm still waiting for my beer.

As for speculation about a potential split-national championship, isn't this unlikely? I mean, the various polls made a conscious decision to have LSU number 2 so that they would play in the championship game—if they had thought Georgia or Oklahoma was more worthy, wouldn't they have put them on the ballot ahead of

I'm just going to say, you can make the case for a whole shitload of teams. But with LSU in the title game, even though they're getting in back asswards, I still am really really happy.
