It matters why you're saying something as much as what you're saying. It's plainly obvious that he's singling her out for criticism specifically because she's female, otherwise where is his criticism for all the equally incompetent male NASCAR drivers?

Doubt it. Simona spent her entire IndyCar career in mediocre equipment, including a good chunk of 2012 with the boat anchor Lotus engine. When given halfway decent equipment she did pretty well, judging from her drives last season with KV. If anything she'll be a good, steady driver for a mid-pack team like Sauber.
