Who in their right minds turns down a chance to meet Skip Barber? If they don't know who he is, they oughta be slinging refrigerators not cars.

Why the hell couldn't he be a Top Gear America host?!

Dear Jalops,

I think we could move to a slightly different trend in the future. Maybe an XJ pickup truck.

That was the first car I thought about when I saw that nose. I haven't seen one of the Abruzzi in a long time.

While the nose isn't great looking, it's nice to see something other than a giant I WILL EAT YOUR CHILDREN grille.

If they launch this thing with GT-R levels of performance, I think it's only natural that we should expect a new RX-7 and 3000GT shortly thereafter to fill out the roster and bring back the awesomeness of the 90's!!

I didn't think Dakar could get more exciting, then I heard it with Spanish commentary.

This is GREAT! Thanks for the info.

Per my old boss... a Chicago native... this was standard operating procedure back in the day. Charcoal in a trash can lid (back when they were metal, kids) and go back inside for breakfast.

It's so freaking cold out there. Well, not here in LA, where I'm wearing my usual tube top and Daisy Dukes, but in a huge chunk of the country, where it's unreasonably, improbably cold. So what's this mean for your poor car?

For climates like that they sell special anti-freeze. When I was in Alaska we had a fellow from Florida move up and bring his car with him. He was tragically unprepared. As it turns out he had straight water in the coolant system. The block cracked, not sure why the freeze plug did not pop or maybe not enough, but I

This frost bitten Canadian Boy will tell you that your fuel will "slush" up below zero if there is any water in it. If you know it is going to be cold as it is now, fill the tank with premium fuel from a high volume station and put synthetic oil in.

Interesting info-graphic, looks like the folks in North Dakota were a few degrees away from having frozen anti-freeze (unless they're running more than 50/50 mix) didn't know it was that easy to freeze it.

I wouldn't be too sure these are Coloradans. An enormous part of the state's population is actually from California.

I lived in Aspen for a couple of years and that airport is challenging. About 10 years ago a Gulfstream inbound from LA crashed while I was there visiting, and I think 21 perished. They flew into a ridgeline on final approach, whereas it sounds like today's crash happened on the actual runway. Either way, condolences

I know someone who lives there whose husband died in a crash trying to land in aspen, it's not worth it.

I'm a corporate pilot currently in Aspen on a trip. We landed Friday, hopefully leaving in the next couple of days. This is a very challenging airport, I feel for the crew. We're all one bad thing away.
