To me it looks like a VW XL1 spinoff... But I'm a bit hungover from my "my wife is freshly pregnant" BBQ last night

I personally love the video. Captures both sides of motorsport. Those that love watching cars and those that love racing them. Its really hard to deny Porsche's approach to Lemans. They have won the race outright 16 times! More overall wins than any other manufacturer. BMW may own the Nurburgring but La Sarthe is

I'm an ALMS fan and a Dempsey fan and saw nothing wrong with this video. I had the privilege of meeting him at Sebring and he was a normal guy and had a big sense of humor.

Last I checked Jalopnik doesn't care about "poor taste" or "timing" of any kind. Pretty sure last week they had an article about a dead child—which had NOTHING to do with cars at all. This one involves a race track (in a way) so there's no way its not going to get posted ASAP!

Dude, really? McNewbie has been around for years, and I don't think any commenter scavenged and shared as much motorsporting news and updates as she did in the past. A Troll, she is not.

Not buying that at all. How is a picture of a man who has just been crushed by a 10,000 pound machine going to tell you any more than what the text has? There is no real legitimate reason to show a picture of the man immediately after he got run over by the machine. We're not OSHA, we're not the CCOHS, we're not the

Expressing honest criticism is not "being a troll."

Yah, I'm pretty disappointed with Jalopnik on this one. If I want to see a man about to die I'll go to Liveleak or one of the thousands of other gore sites. I come here for cars, not to see someone take advantage of another person's death. The photo of the injured man ads absolutely nothing to the story that we

thanks for pointing that out. yeah, awful way to increase your newsworthiness. hope you are mighty proud for giving the "option" to the readers. -1 for the author and this goddamn site shame on you

He wasn't immediately killed. The photographer could not have known that.

The photos depict how it happened. This sheds light on how it can be prevented in the future. I'm sure that's the best thing that could come out of all of this.

I'm sure this was much more coherent in your native language. Doesn't come across great to English speakers, though.

The only thing you really have to ask yourself is if this happened to the son of the article's author, would that picture be posted?

Are we defining trolls as people who have polite disagreements with management now?

I fully support you. It is incredibly poor taste to post something like that, very disrespectful to the family/friends of that poor person. Especially under the weak justification that it is "newsworthy." It adds nothing to the story whatsoever. Journalists can be really twisted people.

Hitting the Google pole just goes a long way to show what this does.

I'm totally with you on this.

Please update post to show twitter user who posted pictures has removed them and apologised

I prefer censored news as well! so much...less real... oh Michael you view count whore!
