And with that, I shall make a nice cup of hot chocolate, and try to have a pleasant night's sleep.

221 topless? Not without a helmet.
Of course, that's just me and not the jackass who's going to flip this thing off a wet road somewhere with only his designer sunglasses for protection.
That said, do want. Probably because it wants to kill me.

"Just look at him. Square. The shape of evil."

They have reviewed the issue several times. The only subject under review right now is if they should finally change the name from Dakar Rally to something else. As you have pointed put, it's been a half decade. On one side, keeping the Dakar name pays tribute to the country where the race used to officially end. On

They moved the race because it was getting too dangerous for the event to be held in Africa.

Absolutely.

About time you joined Jalopnik/Kinja. Now I don't have to keep pulling your stuff. I added you as an author on the oppositelock forum, so any posts of yours will show up. You should post your articles there, and on your personal blog. That way, they might get pulled for the front page. I'll keep track and alert the

It's not the destination, it's the company that you keep. I almost spent time in a Canadian prison, (quel Horreur), due to coming thisclose to strangling my side seat passenger.

Are you adding V8 Supercars or am I? Heh

I've had two front page posts and two hat tips in as many days. What did I get in return? Ugots, except for props from my fellow commenters. I don't want to be a writer. I do like posting my deep thoughts and emotions on a free site like Kinja/Jalopnik. I just want The Royal We down in his SoHo loft, or out by his

OMG, Dying!! Hahahaha! Whew. Thanks, and keep up the good work at Monster.

This is a cool vid. I watched it when JohnHopkins tweeted it a few weeks back.

According to Peugeot Sport, the on board is "coming soon." Red Bull TV said the video would be up by tomorrow. Since Peugeot has gone quite, I'm guessing we'll see it tomorrow. I feel ya on the commentators, but to be fair, Pike's Peak has gone from 46 competitors to over 200 now that they have paved the road. I don't

Fock. Me. Ya ball buster. Ok fine. I'm sorry. I'm making a deep, emotional, heart felt, on my fricking hands and knees, lips touching the golden laces of your boots, eyes lowered, prone position, begging for mercy, public apology to Dusty who had Loeb at 8:56. That's not reaaalllllyyy the 8 minute club. More like a

Just posted this on oppo, but I'll leave it here too. It's the replay from Loeb's record setting run.

The old record of 9:46.164 was set last year by Rhys Millen driving a Hyundai Genesis Coupe. He was followed closely by Romain Dumas driving a Porsche GT3R, which makes it unfortunate that Dumas experienced mechanical failure and stopped on stage one a little while ago. At least those two could have had a battle.

I see what you did there;) It's funny, I had predicted Loeb's run to be around the 9 minute mark, and that's just what Millen came in with. I don't think any of us saw Loeb headed to the 8 minute club, and so close to the 8 minute mark. Just a shocking performance, even if he is Sebastien Loeb.

Break down of each sector's times for Loeb.

Loeb and Peugeot have set a new record, obliterating the old one. Seb made it to the top in 8:13:878. Wow!

The race was stopped due to a motorcyclist going off at Halfway Picnic Grounds. Flight for Life was brought in and the race should resume shortly. I'm also hearing there was a small fire.
