So along story short, stay the fuck off of social media if you don't want to know how events unfurl. The rest of us will use social media, especially Twitter, to stay up to date on every last second detail. I've also noticed, as someone who consumes every motorsport out there, that it's the strictly F1 crowd for

Heh. Yeah, are we cool with calling this the longest drift ever if it was done on a watered down skid pad? I also spoke with PalBay, a spy photographer who was at the event. It took about an hour and a half for the drift record.

Pretty smart on Aston's part to partner with TRG. They've done an outstanding job promoting the cars. It will be fun when one of the gentlemen drivers gets bored with his semi serious hobby and kicks one of these babies to the curb. That's when hope builds for us mere mortals to acquire a GT4 for track days. You would

WTCC from the Hungaroring, Budapest. Three Chevy Cruze drivers are leading practice. No surprise there. The shock came when the Honda's and the BMW driven by Tom Coronel did well at last weekend's race. Look for the usual suspects, like Tom Chilton, (you know, the Chilton brother who can actually drive), and Yvan

OH!! Dang, it sounds luscious. What a cool and interesting project. Not surprised, coming from you. I'm glad you made it to San Fran to see your daughter.

LOLZ!! You're not building a Kamaz truck, that's for sure.

*waves* 'Sup Gimmi? Miss you, natch.

Kudos for ticking the right boxes sir. Yes, am in the NYC area and am familiar with Lime Rock. Monster trucks? Hmm, either you have red neck roots like me, or you need to get out of the city more! Love trucks, but as far as motorsports/racing goes, trophy trucks are the sex. Those or the Kamaz and other large trucks

heh. You're lucky I know you're busting my chops, dirt loving brother from another mother. Lame excuses? Trying to get A's while studying medicine is hardly lame.

For Michael Ballaban, since I know so little about you. Ass, gas, or Barney Greengrass?

That title is yours for the taking.

Combine a long rally with LeMons and it sounds like the Mongol Rally would be your thing. Questionable vehicles over a long distance. I'd actually really like to do the Mongol Rally at some point. Or you could just drive from Paris to Shanghai, which would be spectacular and probably much safer.

Good to know. I only follow Kevin on Twitter, cause I thought you two were one and the same;) Yes, F1 is awesome, but I could see you wanting to do rally or something other than track racing with DRS kicking in yo.

For Travis. Is it true you and Kevin McCauley share Twitter accounts, tastes in cars, preferences in cheese, and scented underwear?

My Dad, Dr.J, with shaved legs. He's in his 60's and competes on Master's circuit for both road racing and velodrome. Still shaves, thanks to accidents here and there over the years.

The legendary John McGuinness waiting for his turn on the bike at the Bol d'Or. Image from Honda TT Legends. I like how he looks like he trained for the race by downing a burger and fries. McGuinness is to bike road racing as Stewart is to NASCAR, with all due respect to both men.

Two wheels good. Yes, MotoGP is hitting COTA for the first time, making the race only slightly less predictable than it normally would be. The 2013 Bol d'Or started a few minutes ago. 23+ hours to go. This live stream is currently working and includes an official link to the web site.
