I think its good that this stuff is said, because this is the last time a person’s name is going to be out there in the media, and people get the idea f I can say ‘now’s not the time’ enough, people will forget all the awful things or at least they will be shamed for speaking ill of the dead.

This is a great example of how disagreeing with someone doesn’t automatically have to mean you hold real ill will or wish harm on them. Sometimes people can just have different opinions, that’s OK.

I think we should still be allowed to be critical about his past opinion and content. There’s a respectable way of doing it and I don’t condone what some are saying in the comments section right now, but I also don’t think we should all just automatically be praising him as a saint.

He was always entertaining and often had the best take on issues. Even when I disagreed with him such as his gamergate remarks I still respected him and understood his point of view.

By contributing in material and intentional ways to a disgusting campaign of misogyny and racism that scarred the industry forever, obviously.
