It looks from an outside perspective that Valve made a snap decision that turned out to be stupid and now have trouble admitting that they took the game down without a valid argument, thereby further damaging their image in the public eye, until they either own up to their mistake or just make up a good…

I actually think leaning on controversy is smart and don't see any reason why it is embarrassing or "bullshit". Yes, it is clearly what they're going for and that is obvious, because they make it obvious. They don't try to put a lid over it - now, that would be bullshit!

I've never personally done anything like that. I also never really considered trying to do anything about it. From now on I will make sure to take a stand against and report inappropriate behavior. I would like us to be a more respectful community as well.

I too gave up on the Witcher - 2 times; both immediately after the intro at the Witchers' castle. Then the third time I kept playing, suffering through random CTD's, and it was one of the best games I had ever played.
