That’s a good suggestion. I’ll check out some videos on Youtube.

I wasn’t too interested in the game, but the synopsis and characters have piqued my interest. Would you recommend it?

Rami Malek (aka the dude from Mr. Robot)?!

The offer only lasts for 4 more days. So you can’t sit on the fence for much longer.

I wish I could be surprised, but a part of me knew a 2015 release was optimistic on ATLUS’ part. In any case, 2016 looks to be the year of the JRPG.

I understand, but as somebody who followed the game since its announcement and was hyped since day 1, my main gripe stems from the fact that they had an opportunity to do something truly innovative. Instead, they went for a cookie-cutter SRPG, slapped on franchise characters, and called it a day.

I know exactly how you feel. I gave up on it halfway through because it was a constant repetitive grind. If they’d added fighting game controls to the battles (QCF, HC, etc.) and made it into a hybrid SRPG/fighting game, it would’ve been a breath of fresh air. Instead we got a giant pile of fan service.

South Park’s had a tough time captivating my interest the past few seasons, but with the amount of cannon fodder they have this year they can’t possibly screw it up.

It’s gonna come in handy for the RNC debate and South Park season premiere, too!

PSO2 on the PS4? A part of me is irrationally holding out hope for SEGA to release it in the west after the PS4 version’s out.

That’s been my million dollar question after seeing the video.

Yeah, those were my initial thoughts too. Considering his exposure to the west, I’d be surprised if he isn’t more receptive to the international market.

That makes sense. I hadn’t had the chance to look through the bulbapedia page, but after doing so it seems quite clear why he was chosen; worked in the banking sector, good with finance, lived in the States, ex-NOA President, plenty of leadership experience in the West and Japan. I think they made the right hire,

A lot of people seem surprised or dismayed that Nintendo went with a “business guy,” but as a former business student, I’m more intrigued that they picked the guy out of HR. It’s an interesting decision for sure and I hope it pays off.

No worries! I think you’ll really like it. It’s passionately written and gives you an even deeper appreciation of the man.

Also, if you’re into music and/or Koji Kondo’s genius, I highly recommend picking up Super Mario Bros. book from the 33 1/3 series. It’s really well written and provides some great insights into the soundtrack and the man behind it.

I feel like Yelp really encourages this “customer is always right” asshole behavior due to its influence.

Forget the beard. The whole outfit looks odd on him. It’s like Harry Potter missed his train and ended up in the wrong part of London.

I’d been playing since it was first released and I’m totally burnt out. I haven’t touched it since I left for vacation in June and with MGS, Fallout, Battlefront, and Persona 5 coming out, I doubt I’ll revisit it.

If they’ll add a ton of unlockables I might be tempted, though the release date is pretty close to Fallout and Battlefront.
