That’s been my curiosity as well. It’s the same added weight and aerodynamic load; why is the cybertruck affected worse by it?

Really glad that bot problem has been resolved so thoroughly by the new management of Twitter. Top notch work.

There’s definitely some discounts for multiple vehicles, but it feels to me like they don’t reach very far.

I think we’ve had a bit of a miscommunication about insurance types. So when I refer to liability I’m talking about the bare minimum coverage I can get for a vehicle; coverage for other parties should I be at fault. My vehicle itself is not protected by my policy. Most of my cars are insured at this level.

Not worth the trouble to constantly switch policies, in my opinion.

They could always bill me off the highest risk vehicle. If it’s at or close to the rates I’m paying on individual vehicles that would still be a win for me.

Which has some merit... if we’re talking about full coverage. When it comes to liability I really see no practical reason why my insurance has to have a plan for each individual vehicle and not just my fleet as a whole.

Paying insurance on multiple vehicles when I can only drive one at a time.

Local dealer had been trying to sell that thing for $20k+ for over a year.

From the time the first calls were made to stop traffic to the moment the bridge collapsed was only a minute and a half.

Yeah, I’d hesitate to say it aged badly. It was an ugly duckling when it came out and that holds true today. It’s the international prototype of poor design.

Are Nickelodeon game shows making a comeback?

Oh absolutely, it’s just a shame it’s so difficult to capture that “low-quality” energy. It seems most any effort in the past has been able to recover in the range of single digit percentages for not inconsequential cost or complexity.

Noise is just wasted power.

Air has mass. It could be expressed as a volume, but that’s dependent on what pressure it’s at; mass is a more reliable means to measure the leakage.

For reference, one cubic foot of air at standard temperature and pressure is 0.0807 pounds. So their leakage is about 24 cubic feet of air per day, or enough air to fill

Good luck getting AI to correctly translate a stereotypical cat-girl.

I’ve been driving a manual for two decades now and I’m equally a shitty driver no matter if it’s a manual or an automatic. ;)

It’s me. I’m cringe. I always made fun of those Buick commercials where they proclaim, “THAT’S a Buick?!!”. I always thought they were dumb because the cars portrayed were pretty clearly Buicks in terms of styling and badging.

I’m not sure this is a hot-take, but the EPA has done a considerable amount of harm in their pursuit of good.

Limiting it to minors is just their means to get a foot in the door. There’s already been comments and suggested legislation that expands well beyond “protecting minors”. It’s been very apparent that the way to “protect minors” is to eliminate any chance of exposure to the concept to begin with.
