“Best in class” is the marketing version of grading the class on a curve.

He should have used blue-and-red lights instead of red-and-blue.

I walked away thinking Taika was trying to top Taika and it was just too much. I really enjoy his brand of humor, but Love and Thunder felt like he was tripping over himself to one-up Ragnarok.

Energy neutral? Not at all. Cost neutral? Maybe.

If in the end they’re going to heat a pool no matter what, then perhaps bitcoin mining is generating enough revenue to pay for that energy that otherwise comes right out of their profits.

IP67 would explain it. At that rating they should still be able to handle some mild submersion, but aren’t rated for high pressure spray. Generally this is referring to pressure washing, but I do question if driving through shallow water at speed would be similar or not.

So... is a Tesla pack not rated for IP69K? Because it should really be IP69K seeing as how it’s both automotive and mounted to the bottom of the fricken car.

Thanks for that explanation! I feared trying to search for it was going to get mired in results about the recall so I figured it was better to ask someone with some real experience.

No helmet, no cage... what the actual f**k?

According to court records obtained by KSTP-TV, that supervisor still has his job and was actually given a raise and a near $20,000 bonus. The performance review that led to that raise and bonus specifically referenced the fact that “Don Sanders is no longer working for BNSF” and the reduction in slow orders.

Not a damn one. Can a manufacturer guarantee me that their servers managing the subscription service will be up indefinitely? No? Then piss off.

And yet it was a chronic issue for those engines. Just because it’s a “simple” fix doesn’t suddenly make it reliable.

“Concept car”. Ok, so their claims don’t mean squat.

I hate this timeline.

It’s both. These shops are catering to both ends of the spectrum and getting (rightfully) punished for it. Whether you tune a truck to roll coal or simply remove an emissions control; the EPA treats it as the same level of offense. It's not the OEM tune and/or system and not a certified modification (eg, CARB
