I think Daniel Ricciardo and Zak Brown also won over a lot of new US fans with his drive of Dale Earnhardt’s car. It was a lot of fun to watch and excellent PR for the sport.

So worth it to be able to watch the onboard of your driver of choice on one screen and have the main feed, or their alternate “pit lane channel” (which unfortunately isn’t any better than the main one), on another.

You can’t - he’s dead. You can ask the owner who let him drive it though.

It wasn’t really a bet - it was just an enticement Zak offered him. Should be fun to watch though.

He already beat them all at that.

No, we don’t all agree.

You could buy some of this to get started on the Woody part.

There’s one that often showed up at our local neighborhood cruise nights here in NJ. I don’t think the replicas are that few and far between.

F1 TV pro is already available and provides great options for how to watch the races, as well as practice, qualifying, tech discussions and such.

That’d be your own “Americanised” dictionary to the rest of the English speaking world.

I was going to comment about your coming here to get away from the land where your surname must invite numerous attacks, due to only needing a few letters changed to arrive at a fairly common putdown. But then you said you’re a Honey Badger fan, so welcome.

The Bathurst 12 Hour is pretty awesome to watch.

Yep, was going to say the same, as far as the track goes. Maybe not the best place of all to visit, although as an Aussie expat I’d certainly be happy to be able to get there at the moment.

There was never any serious consideration given to ordering Daniel to let Lando past. They told Daniel that Lando needed him to go faster so he could keep ahead of the cars behind him and he did. Daniel’s last lap was the fastest of the race, which he absolutely deserved to win. Lando also did a great job to come home
