It doesn't get any better than this. The Manx is the quintessential fiberglass car IMO.

When you can buy a Del Sol with a stock B16, why even bother with a swapped b18 on a clapped out car? CP all the way.

The great thing about the corkscew is that you have a better view of the corner than the drivers do. Its a great vantage point on the track.

Minus the SC, this would be a pretty low-spec Cherokee here in Colorado. $12k can buy you MUCH more in the world of XJ's. Crack pipe all the way.

The interior is just bizarre. Half of the tach sweep is unusable (at least on the diesel,) there are over 100 buttons for the driver to decipher, and they are using the 4-pointed vents again. Not to mention the nav. screen might as well be suction cup mounted to the windshield.

The biggest mistake I ever made was buying a car that sat for a prolonged period of time. Anyone wishing to put this thing on the road would have A LOT of work ahead of them.

I 2nd stopping in San Luis Obispo. I was born and raised there and its a fantastic place to kill a little time.

I had many, many hours of fun on this thing. Definitely one of the most iconic 80's car toys!

A Brabus Smart Car never made much sense to me.

I think this is all part of a smear campaign.

Now playing

I will always remember the Z06 dragstrip burnout fail.

Leave it to Honda to use an Accord as their benchmark. hahaha I don't know how hard the NSX driver was pushing, but it certainly wasn't walking away from the Accord.

Maybe it's just Miami Vice, but the Testarossa always seemed much cooler to me when it was in white.

Sure, a horse can develop 746 watts on a treadmill, but can it take off?

This makes the Chevy Spark look pretty darn good by comparison. Despite not using exotic materials, the Spark only weighs 200lbs more, is nearly as fast, has the same range and costs $15k less. The i3 is an over-engineered compliance car, where as the Spark EV is a realistic take on a mass produced full EV vehicle.

An engine made only greater by the car it came in. If this doesn't make the list, I will be shocked.

This is easy.

While this may not be a conventional part of regular "maintenance," I have always been impressed with what Sea Foam has done with my older engines. It's cheap and makes a difference.

I don't dislike it, but it just seems like it is trying waaaay too hard. And the Fiat Panda-esque mini rear 1/4 windows don't help take the look upscale much.

I'm gonna go with the standard , port fuel injector. With more and more cars switching to direct injection, these guys are going the way of the dinosaur.
