I remember this car from focaljet.com back in the day. Glad to see that it has been brought back to its former glory!

If you think about it, ads like this were the original “Cars.” While modern ads focus on the human element of driving, displays like this really capture what it would be like if cars only interacted with themselves.

This one came out pretty good.

I don’t take sides when it comes to brand loyalty, but this incremental update seems to make the Mustang look even better by comparison.

Without the salvage title, it is slightly NP. With the salvage title, this thing is CP all the way.

Given that fans have taken the time to plot the course in the parking lot, it makes you wonder how fast someone has really gone on the track taken in the movie.

While this car may seem familiar, I’d have to say Carroll Shelby performed (for its time) the most radical engine swap of all time.

A turbine powered R/C pulling tractor is kinda cool.

I love the car. I also love how humble its builder is. I do take some offense to his notion that this is a car anyone could build. The time and expertise that went into the body work and paint is not something the average Joe could replicate. That thing is laser straight.

I will submit the classic Isuzu Gemini commercial. This is indicative of a time when Japan still had something to prove. The coordinated driving is among the best ever captured.

In one of the videos I watched, they said it came down to a packaging problem. Too much of the car was going to have be be re-engineered to make the transmission fit, so it didn't make sense to offer it as an option.

As someone who used to street race, I can say that it is the result of a lack of maturity and an over-inflated ego. Not only did I lose my license for a year, but I had numerous close calls at high rates of speed that would have endangered/killed other motorists. Then I grew up. What I did was wrong, and I paid for

Mazda 626 GT. Featuring a turbocharged truck engine and 4-door hatchback styling, this represented the zenith of Japanese engineering. After owning 20+ cars, the 626 GT will remain in my top 3 best cars of all time.

I'm guessing a potato based crime in Scotland would have to be investigated by these two.

The more pertinent question is how well it will jump a median as compared to the m4.

I'd have to say the Tesla Model S. For a clean sheet design, they pretty much nailed it right off the bat.

"Yes, there is a window in the hood to see the supercharger."

Yes, this isn't the car's first appearance on Jalopnik.

Along with a Geo Tracker and Meyer's Manx, the Charade is a car I will try to own in my lifetime.

The only thing I kept hearing was understeer.
