The battle system seems a little gimmicky, but it at least kind of looks like a return to the more RPG stuff of older Paper Mario games. I remember avoiding every battle in Sticker Star and Color Splash because it just felt like you were wasting your cards/stickers and time for pretty much nothing in return.

I’ve been arguing something similar WRT the armed protests that took place in various state capitals just a week or two ago. They go marching in, strapped for action, but they cover their faces. Is it because it looks cool?
