I had a black ‘84 Laser Turbo XT (I think). It was great until I loaned it to a roommate in the Navy who somehow got it to shoot a piston through the bottom of the engine and out the oil pan. I eventually had a shop put in a used engine out of an ‘86, which would have been great had they not forgotten to put it back…

I actually do just fine with the analog sticks. In fact, I do REALLY well with them. I think it just depends on the type of weapon you use and your own personal play style.
