That’s a load of crap right there. The Eagles were equipped with either the 4.2 I6 or the Iron Duke 4, both extremely reliable. Rust was really the only problem that killed a lot of Eagles, because most were sold in the rust belt and succumbed to road salt, just like every other car. AMC built some really good cars…

If AMC was still around, they would have already cornered the market on the CUV and SUVs. Remember, they brought the world the Eagle, a 4x4 family sedan - basically a SUV or Crossover. Or they could have gone the route of the WRX with it, but they were too ahead of the curve. Oh what could have been.

I’m American, but I’ve always preferred the design shared by the Super Famicom and PAL Super NES, with its smaller footprint, rounded edges and non-purple/lilac color scheme.
