Given that they’ve missed virtually every deadline they SET FOR THEMSELVES and then keep adding scope, this is bad news.

Phones are like the car industry in the 50s, competition required annual new models but there wasn’t enough new tech so it became all about tail fins.
The best training... drive the care to the base of a steep hill and turn off the car. Have the newbie get in, start it and get up that hill without rolling backwards. If they get that, they’ve mastered manual.
I can confirm that if you buy a car at Ford, and accept the coffee the salesman offers you, make sure to have some change ready because it’s not free.
Think about little kids, who are basically tiny drunks. They do things we think are stupid all day long.
This is gonna be a great pilot episode for my new show “Law and Order: Special Vehicles Unit.”
This car is neither of the following:
1. Awesome
2. Rare
3. Interesting
Tavarish should be here any minute now, to tell us how this is shit and the car will grenade itself in a second.
Because this import law is backed by the manufacturers themselves who want to be able to charge different prices in every region to maximize profits in each. If you could import any car you want easily then you’d just go buy wherever it’s cheapest depending on current currency exchange rates and it’d wreak havoc on…
If GM taught us one thing, it’s that airbags don’t go off when the ignition is off.
Rovers and Skylines, yeah it’s pretty horrific.
Hammond did this for a TG challenge on the Autobahn, he took a ‘96 E36 M3 up to 152 or something before running into traffic. It’ll do 155-160 no prob.
2 am in Florida, Feds including ICE agents quietly line up outside a quiet, unassuming white import shop. They place chains on the large overhead door which are firmly attached to the back of an acquired MRAP. With a solid tug and wail from the diesel powered behemoth, it rips the entire door and parts of the wall…
Remember, this is a UK car and presumably has recently had to pass a fairly stringent MOT inspection. Wear items like suspension parts and brakes are measured and replaced if out of spec. Unlike a 20-year old M3 here in the US that may come from a state with little or no mandatory safety inspections.
I get that, but if 200 hp is enough to reach the electronically limited 155 mph top speed, 300 hp isn’t going to give him any higher top speed. It’ll just reach 155 mph faster. That is why comparing top speeds is meaningless when it is electronically limited.
But Jalopnik said all BMW motors are shit
As much as I like speed, I tend to agree. Even though it’s the Autobahn, a lot could still go wrong. Save speeding and other driving antics for tracks and other closed circuits. Don’t put others at risk for your selfish, childish behavior.
The idea of idiots doing top speed runs on public roads, not a big fan.
BMW speed limiters have always been somewhat conservatives. Most journalists report hitting (an indicated) 165mph before hitting the limiter in recent M3s/M4s.
