It's natural. iOS had a basic one like Android, but you had to prompt it. Like "Play X song by Y artist" or "Call X". Siri is different. I could say something like: Text my wife that "I'm going to be 5 minutes late" or "Play my running mix". It'll do it. You can also ask it if it's name, etc, etc, with comedic

LG Optimus One. Not only games-I just want the latest OS already. I want a browser that doesn't take a few minutes to load a fucking mobile site. One that doesn't lag, and one that doesn't force me to force close native Google apps.

1+ and hearted.

Side affects may also include the creation of many low/moderate-quality, C-level films.

The logical unit.

Mostly a couple games, plus Siri has me somewhat interested. I put in a preorder yesterday, however, don't call me an "iSheep". I own an Android, and honestly, I detest it. It's slow, it's clunky, and it's too damn LAGGY.

The iPhone has had voice control for ages. So has Android. But this takes the whole idea of it and takes it to a new level. It doesn't just start a song. It doesn't just Google something. It does something more. That's why you can't compare them.

Since we all live (well, 95% of us) within 100KM of the US border, I don't think distance is a major factor.

By look, I meant not just the screen-the overall feel of the device.

Designed FOR IT. Not something that doesn't use push the phone to work. They (for the most part) look worse than the iPhone counterparts.

3GS was pretty underwheling. Compass. Whoopee. Yet it sold very, very well.

Unless it has a decent selection of apps designed for it and a nice design, no thanks to the Prime.

Oh, for the love of any deity, it's not even out yet. Hold off on this, okay, Giz? Wait until you have one in it's glassy glory to play with and then feel free to critique it.

Once again, how is it mediocre? It beats out 9/10ths of the Androids out there. Some, it does not outright crush, but strides past them. It's sleek. It's fast, and I don't see what the problem is.

I'm talking about preventing hype of the New Nexus ever occuring.

But, Apple is bringing this "to the masses". It doesn't matter what WP7 does, until it brings it's sales up, because until then, everyone is using something else.

I agree with the "buzz" point, however, I think that because of his saddening death, many will be reminded of the corporation, possibly pushing sales up.

This is probably the WORST time to launch a product. Sadly, not only has Jobs died, but the new iPhone is out. It'll end up being a note on the bottom of the page, in size 8 Webdings, for 9/10ths of the smartphone crowd (AKA Non-Giz readers).

Sadly, no way of commenting it W/O promotion.
