As a native Atlantan, I have to object furiously to the idea that the Braves did anything relevant prior to September.

I want to see him in the Premier League so badly I don't care who gets him.
I do think, though, that the English money teams look like they're holding back in anticipation of Financial Fair Play rules. Chelsea confirmed that they didn't even bid for Cavani, and you have to imagine that he or Falcao would have entertained playing at City or United if they got the same bids.
Also, some people live in NYC and a grill is not an option unless you want to get evicted.
List is incomplete without Southpaw Light. Tastes like the foot of a hooker from Athens, GA.
You can say the same about Indians or Braves but it's hard to argue against the fact that Redskin is pretty uniquely pejorative.
the 33-year-old Lecavalier had seven years remaining on his deal
What's the protocol for drinking during the National Anthem? I have my hat off, over my heart, but if I have a full, frosty cool Bud Light do I have to refrain until the song is over?
The really shocking thing about all of this is that by firing those 2 guys, Chivas reduced their home attendance average by 30%.
I really should leave off, but I also think that it's incredible that Beckham has basically been chased out of every job he's had. At United, he was kicked out by Fergie after he started dating Posh, for England he was a scapegoat and either misused or left out entirely by everyone except for Sven, at Real he was…

Agreed - from my work it's 20 minutes to Harrison and an hour to Flushing. But while I've been able to get people I work with to go to a Mets game, I can't even provide free tickets to get them to come to RBA.
+1
True, maybe late-era Mark McGwire is a better comparison.
Is there any other player in any other sport who by virtue of being the best at one single aspect of their sport, and below par at every other aspect, was still able to be talked about as one of the best in the world?
I actually think one of the best parts of this whole thing is that the Leicester player who got the penalty definitely dove for it - and then was the one to miss. As soon as that happened I was hoping for him to miss, and this was somehow even better.
And that’s about the extent of it.
He's a beautiful, beautiful man and it's worth pointing out that Chelsea's best defense by goals allowed and +/- includes him in it.
The first bar isn't power, it's just height. Try lower.
How do you score? This is impossible. I'm only going to spend... 5 hours more on this, max.
