At least for me, Casino Royale is still the best of Craig, and probably the best Bond. I’ve also never gotten the Skyfall hype. A perfectly good movie, but not at the level of that first Craig outing.

Skyfall and The Dark Knight Rises both fail for me because they don’t understand what the scale of their story should be. Skyfall sets the stakes too personal when Bond movies operate with millions of lives on the line, and TDKR essentially does the opposite.
