I like how you mention Groupme in passing in the second paragraph or so and then nowhere else. I'm assuming you'd put it in the WhatsApp category. You'd think it'd be mentioned there as well though. Specially since you mention it along side the word "breakthrough" earlier.

In the military it really doesnt matter. We can find out (almost) exactly how much someone makes by their rank and time is service. I think people in the ranks E1-E4 tend to talk about pay more than NCOs do though.

I was thinking the same thing. Scrolled all the way through this threading system trying to figure out if I was the only one that thought so. Must have been on Gizmodo. Occasionally their is some overlap.
