“Really struggle to see how a game that relies heavily on luck and random item spawns could ever really hope to have a decent comp. scene.”

I guess I’m more lenient. As long as you aren’t selling anything that impacts MP gameplay and aren’t selling random loot boxes I’m generally fine with micrtransactions.  And if the game is free even better.

there’s definitely worse offenders out there but their goal is to sell as many dances/skins/cosmetics as possible to make sure players feel like they look fly whilst traversing their candy colored murder purgatory.   I can’t throw too much shade, i play the shit out of Fortnite every chance i get.

micro transaction hell? you know those skins or emotes don’t win you games?

Don’t kid yourself, dude. Fortnite is squarely in microtransaction hell right next to PUBG, it’s just in a nicer room with better furniture and has a slightly better view. As far as Fortnite, “just letting people have more fun”, all of the sweaty, tryhard, wannabe pro players that show up in every match will love to

I mean, that’s probably for the best.

I’m probably only going to play Rush and Conquest anyway.

Sounds like they royally fucked up this battle.

Ok, I’m leaving.

You have received a quest: Learn what the deal is with lamp shades. If you need a lamp, why would you have a shade?

The game about nothing!!

Software is only finished when nobody cares enough to continue developing it.

Anyone who buys this game is doing the industry as a whole a disservice. Studios like Bethesda should not be rewarded for releasing unfinished games.

Shorting isn’t borrowing *against* something an investor doesn’t have. It’s just straight-up borrowing something ... against an investor’s ability to pay the agreed price on the agreed date.

How about regular Joe Schmoe investor, who bought stock on the ride up after the news, and then lost money on the slide back down after the news started to look like bullshit? Trying to screw over shorts is one thing. Screwing over some of your own investors in the process is not ok.

Except that’s not what’s going on at all.

Dude what? Shorting a stock is not the CEO lying on Twitter to manipulate stock prices.

Please explain how short selling screws over a company. Sounds more like that you don’t know how a short selling or the stock market works.

Short-selling is nothing more than predicting a stock will go down rather than up.

I have made small amounts of money by short selling in cases where the CEO and board have manipulated the stock price upwards in an unsustainable manner. I could see that the stock price would eventually tank.

If your dealer deceives you about a hand then you have a clear grievance.

Fuck shorts. I’m tired of summer. I want to wear pants again without having to wring the sweat out of them at the end of the day.
