I love anyone who can speak semi-coherently about books under any circumstances. Eat what you want and stay awesome. But quit smoking. I hear it's bad for you.

Not all dudes, tho. There are certain qualifying characteristics.
My departed grandfather is testament to the fact that we can and should keep dancing well into decrepitude. I just meant that we do get a little self-conscious about being surrounded by, uh, whippersnappers. :)
While I am, in many ways, the Straight White Male type you married, I do love to dance, and am married to a bashful woman who does not enjoy it like I do. Eventually we realized that I could take friends whose husbands don't dance to clubs, we could have fun dancing without the pressure of strangers, and everyone is…
I think if that woman were Campbell's mom, that would have come out by now. I mean, she used to be an up-and-comer on ESPN.
I got all that, and I hope you won't mind me asking you this, but here's what stumps me: what is the connection between believing in evolution and defying god? Why would satan have a grand plan to trick us into believing in evolution? Does god owe him a cupcake for every evolution-crediter or something? I just doesn't…
Did you not see the tag? "Infinite." Occurring at all times and in all places. The lolness of the Jets has exceeded the constraints of space time. It's not old. It's not new. It just is.
I love that you're convinced that small sample sizes are more meaningful than large ones.
A window seat can take some of the sting out of flying through O'Hare. Departing westbound you get to see Fermilab. Departing Eastbound, the sight of the city receding as the lake stretches out below you is lovely. I also entertain myself by counting baseball/softball/t-ball diamonds on the way into major cities. So…
I totally agree that people with a platform have a responsibility, if only to their own integrity, to know what they're talking about. Also, the phrase you're looking for is "bandied about." Brandy doesn't really have a role in it.
Concur - I have a Sony PRS-300 (the pocket size from that same era), and use it constantly. The main complaint against it at the time was that it had no radio of any kind — no 3G, no wifi, nothing. You can only load books via USB cable. But I haven't found that restriction to be at all onerous, and the upside of no…

If there are any copyright issues to investigate, the Albert Morris detective agency specializes in this kind of case, I hear.
Of course you're right. Thank you, I didn't really think it through.
Thank you. Learned something today.
I believe that would be "spin its vanes," unless I've grossly misunderstood the construction of this device.
Many people have mentioned the aged technology - Cassini launched in 1997; if you think about the best camera you could buy in 1995, that's roughly what it's carrying — but also, Saturn is roughly 10 times as far away from the sun as Earth is. So it, and Titan, are getting probably 1/10th the light we get.
Leave the straw men to Cowherd.
Thank you for sharing this.
You're thinking of the io9 readers.
