I think the controllers have to be synced to the right console to turn it on, so turning on both at once isn't really an issue.

One of these days I'll have a booth at E3, and I shall hire "Booth Bros" to stand around in scanty "fantasy gear" and make all the heterosexual men question their life decisions.

That's a factor as well, but I think people are kind of blowing it out of proportion. Read more

I think there needs to be some clarification on this. What people are jumping the gun on is that the whole experience is reduced to 30fps, and this is a rendering issue, but I don't think that's the case at all. I think this has everything to do with wireless transition of video. Read more

I think these days, I'm personally attracted more towards Robin (particularly Tim Drake) more than I do Batman. Lately, Batman has been completely invincible, without any faults. His stories have been reduced to "Best way to find and punch the bad guy". Batman can't lose (and when he does, it turns out he's not Read more

Christ, I've been trying to get something like this working in my house for over a decade. Still, I just built a new computer, and I still can't find anything that'll let me connect it to both my desk monitor and my TV in the next room without having to run 50ft of HDMI cable across the house (with a repeater, no Read more

I think I can handle stuff like server downtime and stuff, even in this sort of situation. But I still feel that there's a bit of a value-loss without the offline mode. Stuff like being in a hotel when the router is on the other side of the building, being on an airplane, being at school with shitty wifi, being in a Read more

It's quite a big list, and I'll agree that "Operation Game Over" is really harsh punishment for some of these. I'm also really bothered that "sex crimes" in general are life-sentences, when other stuff like drug offender registration is only 5 years. Read more

There is a compromise, people. You don't necessarily need to buy a prebuilt machine for a large cost OR build your own at reduced price. There's an option to choose the parts you want, and have someone else assemble and ship it to you for a median price. Read more

I remember a while back, some girl scouts put out some Mario Coin Blocks around town, and that triggered the bomb squad. I'm pretty sure most places require some kind of public notification for any form of public art.

So you have a few games that come with the original box. I have a few games that didn't come with the original box. Instead, it came in a Gamestop branded box with the game's name written in marker along the front. Read more

Wait, did all the angry people in this post forget that DLC coming with the game was NORMAL until the last year or so? The assumption that "Used games don't come with DLC" is simply not true. A lot of games have free DLC, regardless if they are new or used. A lot of the free DLC is to encourage online play, or for Read more
