I’m a sucker for good theming. If they came up with a pop up restaurant concept based on a cartoon I enjoy and actually put a good effort into theming the menu, the decor, the uniforms, the signage, etc, then hell yes I would give it a chance.

The most unrealistic thing about this game might be the cookbook. Brown moms keep all their recipes in their heads, and will never measure out anything. If they’re not eyeballing the amount of rice flour or hot chili peppers, than it’s not authentic Tamil cuisine. :)

I like in the intro that Retsuko only ends up on the island because she wanted a vacation from work. And gets stressed out that she’s taking time off from work. And that she doesn’t know anyone else on the plane but sees they know each other.
