Those mini arcades can go one of two ways. Either tey are packed with roms of old games often including some weird romhacks or it’s off brand games which are often clones of popular games but worse and reskins of other games on the same system.

Burglars are an annoying mechanic. They appear randomly and either you have to rebuy some stuff ar you buy an alarm and you have to rebuy less stuff. With fire it’s at least the result of your sim doing something wrong like being bad a t cooking so it’s a risk involved with an action actively taken by your sim.

I find that the advantages of the Switch are similar to the advantages of consoles in general. Exclusives and being more reliable.
