Having owned an 82 924, I can tell you the power level was abysmal. My 87 944 was tolerable at best. Back in the 70's though... I guess it would’ve been more competitive tho. I feel like the 924 would’ve been much more respectable had it been badged as a VW. But then again, Porsche needed the money.
