It’s interesting that your CMS appears to automatically create a hyperlink for “Crypto.com” when you talk about the arena name.

Interesting. One day I might check it out.

Twitch is a decade old?

Hasn’t the fact that Nintendo was one of the first game companies to pioneer false scarcity to make their products more appealing been known for like decades.

I agree with you to a point, but my main issue is with the (far too many) games that take “cinematics” and “narrative” to mean a linear story that is entirely divorced from gameplay and interactivity.

I’d disagree. If the gameplay loop is fun to play, then cinematics aren’t necessary. In fact, they take you away from that fun. If the gameplay loop isn’t fun to play, then cinematics can’t save it.

They want us to subscribe for a single month when a game of theirs is released, finish it as soon as we can, playing through it on a deadline, then unsubscribe as soon as we’re done?

>”According to Metacritic, Aria of Sorrow, and indeed the GBA’s other Castlevania game, Circle of the Moon, are the two joint-highest-rated CV games ever released.”

I’m struggling to see why launching a “Nintendo Selects” line-up automatically implies a Switch 2 is on the way.

It was “Gen Y” for a very long time. Those of us born in the early 80s were constantly told that is what we were.

I originally assumed it meant games like Galaga and Gradius.

It goes back more than a century. Lord Byron was a recognizable “celebrity” in the modern sense.

While I agree that the Chinese market may not be the best for black films, it’s also becoming a less important market that is downplaying Western releases.

This was a personal coupon that was clearly marked as being intended for single-use by a single-individual. Someone uploaded the code to the internet, and people used it in a way other than what was intended. I don’t see how this is defensible.

How do I access this free game library? I’m certainly interested if it’s free.

If you’re knowingly exploiting a loophole in the system (which the people ordering 10 pizzas clearly were), then I don’t see how this isn’t fraud. Just because you physically can do something doesn’t mean it’s legitimate or legal to do it.

I think it’s fine for people to waste money on cosmetic items if they have the spare cash. Some people are in a stage of their lives where they have no debts, stable income, and a nice nest-egg saved. I’d much rather games target them with cosmetic items instead of items that give them an advantage in online

The business model for these shovelware companies is to get enough people to say: “that’s cheap, I’ll give it a go or “that’s cheap, it might amuse the kids to justify the minimal development costs. They reuse code and assets between games, so they can spam them out quickly.

I’ve never heard of the Pro controller having drift issues. Mine get plenty of use and are fine. My nieces and nephews all abuse theirs awfully, and none has had an issue. However, their Joycons have been sent in for repair several times.

The 3Ds kept that form-factor, and many of us are still playing those. I still have a few games on my 3DS backlog that I haven’t worked through yet.
