I don’t disagree. I’m playing Like A Dragon right now and the pacing is terrible. You have like 2 minutes of gameplay, then 5-10 minutes of cutscenes.

Anyone, individual or corporate, doing business with Saudi Arabia under the current regime should be ashamed of themselves. Complicit with murder, torture and misogyny, KSA represents one of the worst of human societies.
Yeah, the AC games have reached the point of simply being too big by Odyssey.
Ugh, that really isn’t a selling point. It means the maps will be full of pointless filler and chests to fill the space out. It was that tedium that made me give up on AC: Valhalla.
Double Dash takes place in an altogether different dimension!
“but something about the art style looks slightly off somehow.”
It looks... I dunno, “cheaper”? “Rougher”? There’s something off about it compared to the INCREDIBLE animation style of the shorts. And considering the shorts were vector-based, it seems like it would have been pretty straight-forward to do for a game.
For better or worse, it definitely hews very close to The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse’s aesthetic
Some of my coworkers seem to think it’s ok to do very loud facetime with their kids in the common break area at work, and it just baffles me how common courtesy doesn’t tell them to not do that.
Worth noting that everything you said about launchers is also true about slideshows.
I have extended my streak of “installed this game on every computer I own”, and I’m currently playing my GOG copy of Alpha Centauri on my Steam Deck. (Civ VI is also installed on the Deck, but I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet. Maybe later.)
nothing worse then everyone who joins the team has thier tv up loud giving feedback, a fan running, yelling at kids, heavy breathing, a radio on or its nothing but your mother this or you POS that. i just turn team chats off because they are annoying and pointless.
Pathetic. You tell yourself whatever you need to. But no matter what justification you give, it’s still piracy and you’re still a petty thief.
Can I just say thank you for enlightening and explaining things? I wish you could’ve replied to the angry mob that needlessly piled on KAT’s social media Wordle post.
You are correct, it is a job, not a game.
In almost every iteration of a Blockchain game, you end up with some sort of absurd combination of Crypto, Gacha, and MLM, in which you buy in using real money converted to Crypto converted to the GAME’s currency which you use to buy blockchain-verified and re-sellable gacha…
How is this in any way fun and/or challenging.
The alternatives have been worse is key. Capitalism aims to make human greed beneficial; it isn’t the cause of it. You don’t magically inspire competent leadership or get people to happily go to work if you get rid of it. It does, however, need regulation. Some things should be socialized too, like medical systems. All…
The problem is what came after was socialdemocracy and the US lost that train. There’s definitely a cycle between liberalism and socialdemocracy in most stable democracies. Gotta say it does seem like it edges towards US-style capitalism on the whole. Mostly because the US often actively tries to export liberalism.
I’m going to agree with you this “late stage capitalism” is thrown around alot. It’s probably more of a cycle.
There is an entire division of GMG dedicated to get people to stop calling women fat, but here in a headline, it is totally fine to pick on a man for being bald.
You know what people have choices about? It certainly isn’t going bald naturally or getting cancer and going bald.
