Let’s look at the top 10 posts on KotakuInAction’s front page right now, from the top:

Read the first few pages of the KotakuInAction subreddit. It is so anti-female, it is sickening.

Oh, please. GamerGate is anti-women, plain and simple. Otherwise it’s a massive coincidence that the prime targets are all women, that it mocks the “feminist agenda”, that it is anti-diversity, that 90% of the posts on the “KotakuInAction” subreddit are targeting women or feminism in some way or another.

First step: Stop hating women.

The main problem with the Internet is that it is an echo chamber. No matter what your views, you will find people who support them.

There are no rational people involved in GamerGate. The “movement” is far too toxic for any sane person to be even tangentially involved.

She may not have had anything to do with these decisions, but she’s a woman and a feminist, and therefore a prime target for GamerGate’s wrath.

I solved that by getting it on CD (at 9am on launch day). With the free Weezer music video.

It’s not an individual case like that. It is a specific Australian set of prices in Steam. They are making higher margins from Australian customers - in fact, setting the same price as the local retail operators.

The whole argument that they “don’t really sell stuff in Australia” is clearly invalidated by the fact that they have specific, higher prices for Australian customers.

The problem is that Steam has Australian-specific prices, often much higher than the price in the US. This is so they don’t undercut the retail distributors in the Australian marketplace.

I’ve got three 3DSes. Because Nintendo is annoying about region locking.

I think the writers were just fascinated by the coincidence in the names, and tried to shoehorn it in, even if it didn’t work at any level and was confusing.

I really didn’t see it the way you did. I didn’t for a moment think that Batman was solely confused at Superman knowing his identity, because - as you mentioned - it seemed like that was the case from the outset. It was immaterial anyway, because he was going to finish him off. It makes no sense.

The only reason it isn’t being shouted out more is that it is a spoiler. I don’t care. It’s so bad, that the fact it exists is a spoiler.

We also don’t need so much winking to fans from filmmakers who aren’t themselves fans, and seem to have knowledge about the material from Wikipedia or trivia sites.

Well, that’s not exactly typical butter consumption.

You can eat a pound of butter in a few weeks?

In my area of Australia, cinema tickets are as low as $8 (US$6).
