I have an old Ford Ranger with no USB ports. Just one damn port would change my driving experience for the better, but no. Apart from an FM transmitter (I hate those things) is there any way to get those capabilities? If it was as easy as plugging an adapter into the lighter socket, I'd be thrilled. I'm definitely not

Classy.

Evernote would do it. Of course, there are a bazillion other apps specifically for to-do lists in the play store.

I paid six or seven bucks for Titanium Plus waaaaay back in the beginning. I'd happily pay three times that much for that particular app.

Social Fixer has a lot of good stuff going on, but for one reason or another, I always end up ditching it. Can't remember why, exactly. Maybe it bogged down my browser, although nobody seems to be complaining about that here. The funny thing was going from PC to phone – with the fixer installed on one but not the

I tried FileHippo to start with. Seems nice, but you it can't be used with one of the alternative browsers? I use SRWare Iron and it won't show results in there, even after I direct it to. On to the next one!

Shortcuts for Google does all that and you can customize what you put in there. I use it constantly.

Cracked me up.

Huh. Good to know. I haven't bothered to download SwiftKey. I'm really quite happy with Swype now that I know a lot of the hidden features. Well, except this one, that is.

I always liked Pixlr for doing basic stuff. This seems similar. Of course, only one way to find out, am I right?

I'm still using Swype, having never been disappointed in it enough to go elsewhere. The movable keyboard sounds kind of cool, though.

Helpful. I've always found GIMP difficult because I don't use it enough to learn where everything is. I eventual gave up and started using the simpler Pixlr, which doesn't have as much range.

Yep, yep. I have several rarely used yet vital apps that I keep uninstalled with data intact. When the need arises, it's easy – I mean like one click easy – to reinstall it to its former glory. That way, I only need to keep essential apps on the phone. The rest hide away within Titanium, waiting to be needed. Amazing

Wanna like the Feedly app, but I'm not quite there. It's still too easy to get tangled up in the main interface. The widget is a step in the right direction, though. Only shows one item at a time, but it's pretty easy to scroll. Still ... I'm finding it hard to part ways with Reader+, which has been a champ in this

Bam! Done. Good call.

Good God, do I hate public speaking. Four or five people? Awesome. Let's chat. Anything more than a half dozen, though, and I'm the classic "er" and "ah" guy picturing everyone in their underwear. Which, frankly, doesn't work. It's just hilarious.

Google used to provide a timer through search, too. Enter "set timer for three minutes" and it would start to tick away the seconds. That function mysteriously went away, with no explanation forthcoming. As soon as you get comfortable with the tip calculator, yoink! It'll be gone.

Exactly what I was expecting to see. The vid makes it look like just another day on earth with a pretty, oversized moon floating serenely across the sky. Where are the monstrous walls of water and other bruising effects of gravity? I want my James Cameron effects and I want them right now!

I'm with the "everything" guy. What don't I take pictures of? Affidavits and other documents at the local courthouse so I don't have to pay for them. I take pictures of my dual sport before working on it – it's good to know where everything belongs after you've taken stuff apart. I also grab a shot of my odometer so

Funny. My 70-something mother gets around pretty well on her old Dell. My 40-something brother? Here's a guy who hasn't yet figured out how to minimize a window. Trouble is, his wife is just as bad. You've got to have at least one person in the household who knows how to do the basics.
