Ah, gotcha. Well that's a real bummer then, because I'm not setting that update.

There's this
I use an extension called "Shortcuts for Google" for that purpose. The advantage is that you can customize the list to your particular needs. It appears on your toolbar so it's always there, not just on the Google search page.
I wonder if this zaps files that CCleaner doesn't get to.
Oh, this one's getting forwarded to thine wife. Me, I could fit all my stuff into a hockey bag.
You stole my answer. I've been with K9 for a couple years now. Sometimes I want to view all my emails at once. Sometimes I want them in separate rooms, like unruly children. It's nice to have the option.
Listen. Great program. Takes seconds and the audio quality is good.
Speak aloud some things you need to remember to do later. Great for those little tasks that don't make it into your reminder program. For whatever reason, saying things aloud helps commit them to memory. It's like that time I ... Ah, shoot. Forgot what I was going to say.
This worked great for months. Suddenly, it doesn't work at all, just returns an ordinary search. Countdown to Google messing up the next cool thing, 3...2...1...
I'm a terrible wall decorator. I tend to go with volume rather than creatively selecting a theme. The result is that my writing room looks like a bomb went off at a rummage sale.
That's what I was shooting for. Everything else had been done.
Who doesn't love widgets? I have one on every screen in Nova Launcher and it's slick as snot on a chicken's lip. Specifically, widgets for: 1Weather, Evernote, Rocket Music Player, MLB At Bat and of course, a few vital ones on Widgetlocker.
Ah, Google Voice. One of those programs I don't like very much yet I can't do without it. Seriously, when are they going to figure out MMS? Not to mention the less obvious bugs.
You got me curious. I downloaded MediaMonkey and I've been monkeying with it for hours. Beautiful program. Really nice for cleaning up tags and sliding things over to my Android phone. I checked out Music Bee, as well, but I found MM much more intuitive and useful. Good suggestion. Glad I stopped in to rant about…
Oh wow, did I hate iTunes. One of the greatest pleasures of the past decade was ditching it completely, right down to the album art files jamming my folders. It was slow. It was often baffling and unpredictable. It was literally one thing or another every damn time I used it. I think for me and some others, it was a…
I'm a little late to the party, but wow. I just ran ADW for the first time and it blew my mind. It's a little bit humbling if, like me, you're one of those who believes he has a clean machine. This sucker found all kinds of crap I thought I'd blasted off my computer months ago. Real deep cleaning. I've been using…
I'm with the window fan crowd. That white noise is just enough to block out the clunks and clanks of the outside world while creating a soothing hum that lulls the brain. When a fan isn't enough, Lightning Bug for Android is pretty awesome. These aren't the standard sounds – babbling brook, ocean waves, woods at…
I'm trying out F.lux as we speak. Great tip. The bright glare of the computer screen is something that's always troubled me late at night, but it never occurred to me to look for a solution. So far so good.
