CNN has been a trash corporate media mouthpiece for a long time now.

Or TV and movies where someone who gets shot usually gets to carry on heroically for a bit and the only visible evidence is a slowly-growing red stain on their shirt, as opposed to reality where it’s softball-sized chunks of flesh ripped from their bodies at best.

On this I think they should always post the raw images of a mass shooting, let people see the reality of it. If their face is still intact then blur out the faces. People are too far removed and don’t realize how much damage these weapons do to a human being. They watch youtube videos of a medical dummy getting shot

Why not go with a Chrysler Pacifica? Certified Used are showing a healthy discount over new.

Don’t get me wrong. I kinda love that there are idiots out there buying new cars they can’t afford. I’m just glad it’s not me. If it weren’t for them there wouldn’t be any 2-3 year old cars to scoop up for 30-50% off MSRP.

I spent the weekend at some friends place this weekend and one has a recent Kia Rio hatch. It’s not bad. Just for fun I looked and there isn’t one available for about 300 miles from my densely populated east coast location.

I am still trying to figure out exactly what was lost. Did Dems lose something specific to the debate because the only thing I have seen is Repubs refusing to even answer anything related to it. They don’t answer why people needs them, they don’t answer anything in regards to the shootings, they don’t answer....SHIT.

I can’t think of any car I’d want to drive in the $20k range. What even is there? A Versa? Kill me.

I’ve read Kelly's tweet many times, and I still don't know what her point is. She's upset that the gun debate is lost? Or she is giving up? Was the Texas shooting a good or bad thing for her? What is she trying to change?

Wages have not kept pace with inflation for 50 years, let alone exceeded it.

The structure of the car sales model can put dealers, manufacturers, and customers at odds since the economics of EVs can disrupt the business model for dealerships.

“just take the subway”

I’m all for that too. Manufacturers are much more likely to sell cars at MSRP without ridiculous add ons, especially since they won’t have to share profits with shitty dealers.

It would be nice if we instead twist the knife and kill franchise laws altogether.

How many US cities actually have a comprehensive subway system (I.e. one that serves most of the metro area)? NYC and DC are basically it. I don’t see Houston or Phoenix lining up to build a subway because cars are too expensive now.

Take the subway? You’re talking about a very small percentage of the country who has this option.

Daniel never intended to harm Mr. Neely and could not have foreseen his untimely death.

Huh.

Big surprise here is not that some racist fuck killed 8 people in Texas, but that he did it with a vehicle instead of guns.

So he refuses to cooperate with police (Given several fake names). Made threatening jesters to the group before he ran them over and then killed 8 of them.
