your forgetting people got mad about Erika because they revealed that she was trans and that her name was a too close to a male name. Erika, despite being a really good representation of a trans woman, is shit on for being revealed as being a trans woman. You just can’t please some people.

Yeah... it’s a lot more important the after reaction than the initial one.
