It's not the rich, Doug. It's the uninformed and the stupid. I mentioned vaccinations to one of my cousins (a California resident, and one at the poverty level, mind), and she said, "Oh. Well, I forgot to vaccinate Little Cora, but she's just fine."

Yes, exactly! I'm so baffled by some of the comments on here. "I don't trust a man to take a pill everyday," is a really, really insulting thing to say. I'd trust my husband to take a pill everyday, like he trusts me to now. And if I didn't (which is a pretty big relationship issue, anyway), then I'd keep up with my…
Miley doesn't have to like Sinead's letter, but making fun of mental illness? She's being a complete asshole.
No... The big perks of a man-pill is so that they can control their OWN fertility. What you decide to do with yours is your choice.
If you don't trust your boyfriend to take BC, then don't stop taking yours. I don't even see why this is an issue.
And apparently he was a right bastard to her, too. Didn't want her working, sent her divorce papers when she was in the middle of a scene filming Rosemary's Baby.
For a while, we saw a smattering of movies — Hanna, Hunger Games, Sucker Punch, Salt,Dragon Tattoo, Wanted — in which women were armed, dangerous forces to be reckoned with.
You can go to Sears. Macy's also sells some realllly cute slips with lace trim that would look gorgeous, and they'll look like they're a part of your dress! Very pretty dress, btw! :)
I hope it works! It was suggested to me by someone else, and when I used it the first time, I felt so much more in control.
I'm not entirely sure! Not everyone went around naked — the large majority didn't. But it might work the same as a nudist colony, where not everyone who's naked is 18+. Since there were no nudity laws in place even in the area surrounding the institution, there's no law against, say, a 17 year old being nude if they…
YES. YOU KNOW.
I'd prefer not to say, because it's so small... but it's in New England.
I'm exactly the same. Exactly the same. If I start getting angry, or stressed, or upset, I start crying. It may not be full on sobbing, but the embarrassing tears-in-the-eyes-cloudy-vision-sniffle-nose phase that stings and sucks. And the second it starts up, that's it. The focus of the conversation turns to, "Stop…
Oh, bless their hearts. I went to a liberal arts college where nudity was allowed full-time, so I've seen my share of penises and breasts. So! Get on with your naked selves, Brown University.
This specifically reminded me of this one class I had taken — Anthropology of the Middle East, or something like that. And some dudebro always ALWAYS came into class and spoke over the (lady) professor. I'm not even joking. Just tried to pretend he knew more than her, even though he was completely wrong. Every time…
This post said it: women are too hard on themselves. They're hard on themselves when they exit high school with good grades, and harder on themselves when they go into college and realize that the pond is very big. Though: I'd be curious to see how the difference fares once these students get into work places, if the…
Those reasons might be part of it. But another part — I find — is how many students exit high school at the top of their class, and go into university and realise they are small fish in a very big pond. I'm sure their job prospects upon leaving university might also influence their self-esteem, as well.
What do you ladies think, same pair of underwear, or what?
Honey and sugar together is, hands down, the best thing you could ever put on your face. The honey for the anti-bacterial/anti-inflammatory properties, and the sugar works as an exfoliant. It's brilliant.
She's a class act and a complete professional for doing that. And she just kills it on Dexter. I think she channelled a lot of emotion from the divorce into her performance as Deb these last couple of seasons, and it's made her character really raw and even more compelling. I have a lady crush on Jennifer Carpenter,…
