Quite honestly, comments like this are pretty unhelpful and condescending. It's super easy to be a liberal in a blue state. I'm really amazed by Michelle Knight's faith, if I were her, I would have lost my faith a long time ago. I'm really glad Amanda Berry had the courage to do what she did.

Uh, well, that's what actually happened. It was actually assumed by the police and her family that she had simply run away, so not much effort was ever put into finding her.

And yet that was the story she was given in the press. If you will recall, her family did not report her missing; they in fact *did* assume she had run away. Lankypanky wasn't making that judgement her/himself, they were talking about how her story had been reported over and over.

I think that was lankypanky's point. The public jumped to conclusions about Ms. Knight, causing her to be somewhat lost in the shuffle.
