Pretty much the only reason I still play AC is for the narrative. The gameplay is a fairly awful snoozefest of wait, counter, wait, counter over and over again until the 30 guys standing around you waiting their turn are all dead.

"And how comedy is those with less power using humour as a tool to lessen the gap in power and when someone with more power makes fun of those with less is abusive and bullying."

I think you mean systemic.

Relax. They're saying they don't identify themselves as "gamers", not that being a gamer is a bad thing. I don't identify myself as a woman, that doesn't mean I look down on women.

Did you bother reading the article or did you just see the name "Mitt Romney" in the title and then immediately react?

So the fact that those other religions are based on an older and, therefore, more flawed understanding of the universe, they stand up better?

To borrow from someone else who replied:

I... did you read that before posting it? Look where "A Link to the Past" is and then look where "The Legend of Zelda" and "The Legend of Zelda II" are.

Right, but it's based on a natural chronology that comes out of hints within the games themselves. Long before that chronology was released it was already common knowledge that A Link to the Past took place earlier.

The game IS a link to the past. The official timeline Nintendo released backs that up(The original Legend of Zelda and Zelda II are, storyline-wise, the last two in the timeline where Link loses against Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time)

Right, Dark World is what the Sacred Realm became after Ganon became imprisoned there in the "Link Loses" timeline branching off from Ocarina of time.

Actually, A Link to the Past was the first video game I ever played, and I've played through it a few dozen times. To this day, it still stands as my favorite game of all time. In terms of the overarching Zelda storyline, it takes place before Zelda 1 or 2, hence the name.

"Technically they were sequels" is what that was a response to.

A Link to the Past was a prequel, not a sequel. Hell, the *name* outright tells you that.

Could be, though I think the general lack of system-selling games and the significantly higher price vs. its highly successful competition is much more to blame.

The Vita is generating a huge proportion of the losses reported by the Playstation division at this point, because it just isn't selling. Like it or not, he's right. The fact that you have an anecdote about you and your close friends doesn't negate that.

Wow, doesn't even exist yet and it already prints money.

"How to Please Her" where "her" is a mindless, self-obsessed slut(pardon the term, but if any single action is tied with "you're bound to get laid" then the word fits)

I think less issue is taken with the idea of learning to cook(obviously that's just generally a valuable skill to have) and more with the following "you're bound to get laid".

Honestly, it doesn't say much about the women either. Seems to just kinda denigrate all mankind.
