If you're asking who's legally liable, then it's whoever put up the pirated copy so the person with the Ouya could download it.

No, they aren't. Notably Ouya never actually *said* they would be, other people just misunderstood.

I'm pulling that directly from their own statements and website. It likely won't run *all* games at 1080p, but it certainly is capable of generating a 1080p picture.

Right, there's that too, and they appear to be aiming for 60fps on the Wii U. Of course the vast majority of games for PS3/XBox 360 are 30 fps(CoD games being among the notable exceptions, albeit at a 600p resolution)

So I can find a couple, but it seems like *most* 360 games run at native 720p, with a few upscaling from 600p(still pretty far above the Wii's native 480p) and a very few running at native 1080p.

That's exactly what he means.

"'Scalable', as in scalled LOOOOW. So the Pii-U stinker is the equivalent of a mobile phone? Hahahahaha...."

There is one MAJOR difference this time around vs. last time: Resolution. All Wii games were/are 480p(576p for PAL) where 360/PS3 games were/are, at a minimum, 720p. That wasn't as big of a deal in the beginning, when only 25% of households in the US(I don't have figures for other countries) had HDTV's, but the Wii

Not really true when ~30,000-31,000 of those "funders" chose the option that gets them an Ouya. For the same price the Ouya is going for. Those are, in essence, pre-orders.

Admittedly, I'm talking from a US standpoint, so no Pal here. That said, PS3/360 games tend to run at 720p(I don't know of any that run natively lower than that), which is more than 2x the resolution of 576p(921,600 pixels vs. 414,720 pixels).

Before the Humble Bundle, I believe Braid was just available on Steam/Ubuntu/XBox Live Arcade/(PS3's version of XBLA). Basically, every platform he could throw it on, using whatever DRM scheme they already had.

Ya, that's what I was trying to get at there.

Right, I'm just going off this list(I'm going to take an offhand guess and say that you've probably played almost *every* game on it, indie or otherwise; I certainly have). I have no idea what those future games are going to be(well, except one...) so I *can't* list them.

Maybe, maybe not. Doesn't really matter all that much(PS3 makes up for its low hardware price with exorbitant game prices).

Blow put Braid up on the *humble bundle*, which allows anybody to purchase it for any price and provides a link that works for absolutely anybody and allows them to download the game.

In fairness, there's a good number that it could easily handle(Bastion, Fez, Dungeon Defenders, likely Limbo, Minecraft, Super Meat Boy). Basically take all the indie games from that list and you're set.
