Ah, good catch. I'm guessing the A/B placement gave it away? Anyway, agreed, looks excellent on the Wii U.

Eh, it's not like you were really vulnerable in the original AC either, once you got counter. Instead of being able to wipe out the entire group, counter just wiped them out one by one. Same mechanic, it just took a bit longer.

"Even the framerate issues that plagued the PS3 and 360 versions will be present on the PC."

It's unclear, but I'm guessing this is just for the public forum-like messaging.

-OR- it could be like the PS2, wii U being the least powerful, getting most of the good games and 3rd party support out the gate and crushing everything else.

Ya, spoilers is the main thing that comes to my mind. Especially with how it seems to be set up like a forum.

"Sure, the Age Check can fail at that point as well, but even if it does .. then at least the kids know enough who they're talking to or what to expect"

So.... he's making "Cow Clicker 2: Cow Cubed"?

It think it's just Pikmin and this. Which makes sense, both are supposed to be on a tiny scale and DOF is a really good way to get that across.

No, he means you *play* a cop. All the good guys are cops.

From urban dictionary:

GIVE UP. NOW. EVERYBODY IS JOKING EXCEPT YOU.

But aren't we always complaining that all good games for Nintendo are first party? Isn't it refreshing seeing the single best game shown being from a 3rd party?

Eh, I think ZombiU made a pretty good illustration of that. I mean, sure, the concept of the game would be possible without Wii U hardware. But it just wouldn't be as effective without that tension of having to keep glancing back at the screen while you dig through your inventory or try code after code hoping it'll

Hey, you never know, Netflix might just do it.

I'm really not seeing how AC looks better on the 360 or PS3. I suspect it's a bit of rose tinted glasses applied to something subjective people already expected to be worse. I've seen both and I haven't seen any signs that the Wii U version looks inferior in any way.

Hahaha good catch.

For the record: I love that picture.

"I don't want to pay for a next gen console that costs £200-£250 for a console that plays games that are also on 360 and ps3 and Nintendo exclusives."

This is a new console. It's completely independent of the Wii. You *can* use a wiimote with some games and it has legacy support for Wii games, that's about the extent of any interaction between the two.
