That doesn't make any sense. The controller isn't doing any processing, it receives straight uncompressed pixel information through the wireless connection. Uncompressed 1280x720 is 1280x720x24 bits whether you're displaying a flat black screen or the most intricate 3D scene imaginable.

" it probably means that those games that do run at 30fps out of the box won't support two wii u pads"

Two things:

"most importantly, it cuts the frame rate on the game pads themselves, not the TV."

Well, it's likely a bandwidth issue rather than a processing power issue. So It seems likely that a 30fps game will drop to... 30fps, since it's the same amount of bandwidth.

There are no games that run at 30fps. They announced last year that every single game for the Wii U is required to run at 1080p60.

Do we know what the resolution of the tablets is for sure? There's been rumors back and forth, but they've all varied and there's been nothing official afaik.

Sure it can, at the same framerate as the vast majority of games on the other two major consoles... at a higher resolution.

So plug it in an keep playing.

It could be the Dreamcast, or it could be the PS2. Roll the dice.

Well, sorta. I imagine the vast majority of games won't have it tilting more than ~90 degrees(upright to flat, portrait to landscape kinda thing) and won't require movement more than a couple inches, both of which would be fine for a cord. Anything more than that and it's likely a fitness game you're not going to be

From the same source page: "By connecting a Wii U GamePad AC adapter, you can play while charging."

Well, assuming you have no other wall outlets anywhere else and the charging cord is 3" long, ya.

Link?

"By connecting a Wii U GamePad AC adapter, you can play while charging."

"If you're tilting it and moving it around the room, it's going to create problems."

What. the. hell.

Ah, ok. I thought Master Chief was the last Spartan? I never read the books or anything, but I thought that was stated in the previous games.

Never said there was. I was referring to the politician non-answer.

So is this similar to ME3's multiplayer? (Not hating on it, just curious if that impression is accurate)
