He obviously hasn’t seen the “Slippin’ Jimmy” episodes of Better Call Saul. You need sell that slip.  He braced himself on the counter on the way down.

On the other side of the coin, I test drove a Chally SRT-8 and the seats were wonderfully compliant and comfortable. The crap sightlines, construction, and overall fat-ass-edness of the car made me leave it. It was fun though.

Fair.  The seats certainly aren’t for everyone, though they fit me perfectly.  I have a 40 minute commute, and it’s been no problem.

A Civic SI is a great option for those who can’t afford to put down the cash on a type R.  With a tune, it’s a really nice car.

Counterpoint:

You know how you get to Carnegie Hall, don’t ‘ch? Practice.

You learn to love it quickly. Once your brain realizes “I don’t have to reach over to 8 different places to accomplish these tasks, I can do it all RIGHT HERE!!!” you start to like it. I think half the battle is initial configuration. It is a bit annoying figuring out where all the different configuration options are

Great minds think alike ;)

The engine is probably better suited to the auto trans. It feels like a lot of effort to get this thing moving in 1st or 2nd gear.

My 2017.5 Touring has the manual and n o b a l l s. Seriously there is no torque out of the NA 2.5L unless you wring it out to almost 3,000rpm. I suspect Mazda was heavy handed in reining in torque steer, but I could really use torque when I’m driving something that has a ghost-like clutch and can’t get out of its own

I’m spoiled by the Mazda infotainment commander knob. Every time I drive another car without it, I’m pissed off if I have to reach up to the center stack or somewhere on the dash in order to do anything. The placement of it is dead on perfect. I’ve honestly never used the touch screen capabilities in mine.

I mean, they’ve both had a couple of good years, but let’s see what happens in the future. If they can’t sustain this success longterm, then the skeptics will be proven right.

What a mistake. Just like Russell Wilson and Drew Brees, Murray is just too short to play QB in the NFL.

Yup. I couldn’t sleep at night knowing it was out in the garage.

Does the transmission come with a Maximum Overdrive?

David Tracy should sell all eleven of his cars to buy this.

I see them all the time but I live in Columbus and the NSX is built in nearby Marysville.
