Heck, I’ll argue that “Do You Want To Build a Snowman,” “For The First Time in Forever,” and “Love is an Open Door” are all better than “Let It Go.” Also consider that Elsa mentions fractals in that song, and historically fractals as a concept would not have existed for those characters to reference. Check and mate.

Don’t mind me, I’m just here to advocate for the greatness of Tarzan’s “Son of Man” and “Strangers Like Me.” “Son of Man” is an absolute BANGER that really makes you feel awesome, and “Strangers Like Me” is super singalongable. Many a time in the car I can be caught belting out, “I wanna knoooow! Please shooooow me!”

I worked with Gabrielle Union when she filled in for Sarah Shahi on the NBC show Life and while I didn’t get to meet her I adored her performance and everyone who got to work with her said she was fantastic. She’s awesome and I really admire her push for systemic change in the film/TV world.

That first picture isn’t of the Apollo capsule, it’s of the Lunar Excursion Module that landed on the moon. No chairs!

Star Trek IV is a DELIGHT, and a welcome comic chaser amidst all the great sci-fi stuff.

During a rewatch recently with my wife, who effing LOVES this movie, at the end when the kid is all “that was a great game,” I blurted out, “Rufio sure doesn’t see it that way” and ruined it for my wife.

So the guy making the video thinks his buddy Jake’s opinion of his digital Tupac is more important than Snoop’s? Sounds about white.

Be aware, it is a VERY different game on console. 4v4, maps are completely different, there are several warrior types with different pluses and minuses, and the tap/joust mechanic has been completely replaced with an attack button mechanic that is easier for consoles to deal with. KQB is pretty neat, but it is not

I think the MCU did do this for a bit, up til about Age of Ultron (which is why they parted ways with Edgar Wright on Ant-Man), and then realized with GOTG that individual directors can leave interesting marks on films as they continue to keep them fresh and memorable. They now seem all-in on that balance in a way

If it doesn’t need explaining, then don’t explain it.

I literally never want to see a Borg origin story. It will ruin them. Keep them mysterious, ageless, and terrifyingly unknowable.

Taxes are not the same as the government shoving a gun in your face and demanding your money. Taxes are a voluntary social contract we have all decided upon by an agreed-upon system of government in order to fund things in the commons. If you don’t want to pay them you have many choices as to other countries you can

Or if you love the rubber buttons, this:

How about this?

Wealth and privilege are a hell of a drug.

Yes. In fact most places where I have ordered it cook it all the way through. The whole point is that it can be cooked like normal beef.

“They can survive without each other for a few hours, and if their need for each other was really that dire, they could have planned in advance and booked seats next to each other.”

Oh come on, the Mission Impossible movies have been sensational since he came on board with MI3. Ghost Protocol was great, Rogue Nation is a legit action masterpiece, and Fallout was a solid hit. I don’t know how much of that has to do with Abrams personally, but MI3 was a TON of fun and he directed that, reviving the

If you have an immersion sous vide situation, sous vide your chicken first, then bread it and fry the shell and rejoice bc the chicken is perfectly cooked.

I teach filmmaking to kids and we’ve made musicals and one thing we do is take songs we like from musicals and use them as the template for our own songs, which is a great tool to make stuff. This is clearly loosely based on the Neil Patrick Harris Tony song written by Lin Manuel Miranda and I love it.
