One DC restaurateur who has hosted polarizing insiders including Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and White House senior adviser Stephen Miller—architect of the President’s hard line on immigration—says he prefers to seat Trump officials in a private back corner away from the sidewalk-facing windows.

I fucking love Jeter’s self-inflicted damage to his reputation. I hope he sticks around for like 30 years and keeps digging himself deeper and deeper, so that when he dies someday he’s remembered more as the shitty owner of the Marlins than as a Yankees shortstop.

Nah Tyrion will go on vacation to East and be sitting in a cafe and look over and see them enjoying a meal.

They definitely needed a few more opportunities to highlight Danenerys’ alienation in Westeros and her inability to make diplomatic inroads with the great houses. Like a lot of this season, her arc has leapt from bullet point to bullet point without worrying about why or how they got there.

I wasn’t upset with any of the plot or character developments—Dany going mad was inevitable—and the episode was visually and technically stunning. The problem is that Game of Thrones has felt incredibly, needlessly rushed for the past two seasons.

As disappointed as I am, I don’t feel like they screwed up the ending so much as they half-assed it. It all makes sense, it’s just very boring at this point.

Euron can sense main characters from 100 miles away. It’s one of his powers that he has.

lazy writing giveth magic crossbows, lazy writing taketh away magic crossbows.

People in denial so hard they’re pushing the narrative of the bells being the deciding factor and not literally everything leading up to the moment. It’s also obvious which fans are strictly Twitter based by how upset they didn’t get their YASS QUEEN moment in a series about tyrants and their decisions leading to the

The Unsullied are brainwashed and trained to obey unconditionally, and even when granted his freedom, Grey Worm chose to stand by Daenerys. Combine the psychological damage he grew up through, the loss of his one love, and his queen deciding to attack, and it makes perfect sense, optics be damned.

At least Sallador is

Uh, clearly you don’t remember shit about the books because Danaerys had a mean streak ever since Drogo became a vegetable and her child was stillborn. Also Harpies =/ Serpents. Like, not even remotely similar.

haha, you’re crazy, that was awesome.

He would be smart to stay; the recent track record of SNL cast leaving for sitcoms is not great (am I right, Bobby Moynahan and Nasim Pedrad?)

I’m 53 and I know how capitalization works.  #Notallfiftyyearolds

Don’t forget about all the creepy-while-badly-attempting-to-be-sincere shit said about Emma Thompson. Blargh.

I’m surprised he didn’t type it up and send it to Dennis Perkins through the mail.

The odd spacing, the constant use of recycled Baby Boomer buzzwords, the sincere belief that people give a shit what you think . . . yep, a sad old dickhead in his 50s definitely wrote this.

He said he wants to stay on SNL. I have a feeling if his sitcom makes it past the first season he’ll leave then.
