It's not faux outrage. Those people will be right to want to see movies about superheroes who reflect their experiences. What's wrong with that? There will still be plenty of movies about straight white male superheroes, if that's what you want to see.

I meant Marvel Studios, which didn't make Elektra. But anyway, Warner Bros. made Catwoman, so I guess Marvel IP and DC IP are tied for bad movies starring women that don't have superpowers.
