Having spent a week in Reykjavik and surrounding areas last summer for work I’ll say this: It might be cheap to get to (didn’t airline so I have no idea) but Iceland is not a cheap place to be. Loved every minute though, fantastic country.

Are you saying that 45 lbs is too much weight for you to squat 5 times? If not, then you are definitely not too weak for a squat rack. Try it out. If nothing else, do 3 sets of 5 squats with just the bar. Next week do the same thing, but add a pair of 5's so that you are doing 55 lbs. If you’d rather, buy a pair…
I tried working the bulgarian split squats into my routine a while back and those things just murdered my knees. I don’t normally get knee pain from squats so I’m not really sure what that was all about.
I’m a noob in training and have found that the first three are really helping my strength. I’m not strong enough to use a rack yet, so I can vouch that these are good alternatives regardless of ability.
