Even if it was very dumb at times I actually kinda like it and all the franchise building stuff, yup even the confusing silly parts.

Yeah, I really should get myself a couple of external hardrives, if only to have more room for games

“Dear Jezebel, I fear I am not enough of a judgmental bitch to my friends, this seems like your specialty. How DO I become even more horrible to people that don’t share my views?”

I have a freind who is really gung-ho about this game, but I constantly refuse to invest. This could end up a really great game (which I hope) or it could be a crowd-funding Titanic.

This got quite a boost in 5th, my druid uses it quite a lot :-)

Now playing

I was gonna say they can promote themselves however the fuck they want, but damn that video is a bit “Triumph of the Will”-ish. So yeah:

Five harddrives? And he actually had a whole setup with remote cameras? Well that is a man dedicated to his craft, his dirty dirty craft.

I was hoping that I could enjoy this purely as a “science gone wrong” kinda movie, since I got zero superhero vibe from the trailers, but that seem not to be the case sadly :-(

“Or maybe, just maybe, it’s a rock”

The more I think about it seems like a goddamned miracle that this movie is being made, in this (hopefully) faithful way and even with the same actor who portrayed a totally botched version of the same character. I recall this was some pie in the sky, wishful thinking among my friends after we saw X-Men Origins:

Me too, even when I thought I was totally done I always returned in the past whenever an expansion hit. So now I just prepare myself for it and gather a few friends willing to play a month or two, when WoW gets expanded.

WoW is dying, only very very slowly, it has long since reached its peak. Every expansion is gonna see diminishing returns, with subs dropping ever lower after the growth just after the expansion.

I have long thought that if they wanted to make a D&D movie they should not try to emulate playing the game: gather group, go on quest, achieve destiny. That is kinda boring and there is no way to capture all the random asides and misadventures the average group of players will get up while doing their big epic quest.

Well part of it is probably that it would be jarring to have a complete change once you hit certain content (unless they made Nolan do a Dinklage impression). Also I doubt they think it was worth it to hire Dinklage for new lines every time new story content drops.

He has to know he sucks right? I mean even if he is raking in cash, it must affect him in some way, that he puts out such shitty films.

I thought it kinda stumpled under its own weight, like it tried to do just on the wrong side of “too much”. Still a good movie though, so far any “bad” Marvel movie, have been merely “ok” by any other standard.

yeah this is not a storytelling issiue, Fox is not gonna let the X-Men go, Fantastic Four maybe, but it will be a long while before we see Wolverine as an Avenger

I agree, Infinity Wars part 1 is about the defeat of the new Avengers lineup (which I bet will see further changes in Civil War) and Infinity War Part 2 is about the old and the new Avengers teaming up. And my personal hope is that everyone is gonna show up, Daredevil, Agents of Shield, The Guardians of the Galaxy

I may finally be done with this show. I didn’t watch the last episode of season 10 when it first aired and have not been able to muster the will to watch it since. That made me realize I may be done caring about the show altogether.

The beard and that west are fucking on point.
