Well it depends on the game, you used a screenshot from RDR and sandbox games are practically all about screwing around.

ME2 was my favorite entry in series as well, but I havent really been able to say why. But this pretty much sums it up, the overall structure of the game and the variance in the missions, so that resembles a tv show (with a gargantuan budget).

I have not read the book and I found the movie enjoyable, but I left the theater with a feeling that something was missing. The scene with Rue, while very poignant, did not hit me as hard as some have described it, I mean she had only like 4-5 lines. And even main characters like Peeta did not feel very developed.

Admittedly, right after I finished the game I wished there was something more to the ending and I thought that the indoctrination theory had to be true, there could simply be no other explanation to this piss-poor ending. But the next day when my "NERD-RAGE!!1!111!" had abated, I thought "heck, it is only like 10-20…

I gave up about 5 episodes into season 2, there did not seem to be much more than them losing/shooting kids and mucking about on that damn highway forever.

We have yet to see if "the kickstarter model" will actually work, while I think it very likely that I will like Wasteland 2 and Double Fine´s adventure, we simply dont know if they will be good. If they suck I think people will be a lot more loth in giving money to kickstarter game projects in the future

Well the tech powers (and to a lesser extent the Biotic powers) were pretty boring in ME1, maybe people never got that they are actually fun from ME2 onwards. Also the only class that could use the Assault Rifle in the first game was the Soldier, and it is a really good all-purpose weapon (close to middle range).
