Love, love, love this choice. I'd like a female Doctor, but only once Moff's left. In the meantime, this is perfect.
Or get pushed into a romantic relationship with each other. The teasers seem to give them a brother-sister vibe. You don't get that too often.
Obligatory:
Oh, God. Eternal facepalm:
And here's the second, I think:
So, am I the only one who's most interested in Fitz and Simmons, then?
I think this is the first one, judging from the title:
Yeah. As others have already said, worldbuilding is overrated. It is most definitely not the "lifeblood of storytelling". Or if it's become so for sci fi and fantasy, that might explain why so much of it is shit.
This is more on my GOD, WILL PEOPLE PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT THIS - IT'S GOOD BUT NOT THAT GOOD list.
200% agree. 100% for 'God did it', plus 100% for '...in the dumbest way possible'.
Social Tolerance is very good. Same-Sex Unions unfortunately isn't. It's a nice story that I'd love to be true, but the evidence points to these legal contracts being marriages either neither in any ancient or medieval sense, nor in a more modern heterosexual sense nor in an even more modern homosexual one.
The chronology doesn't fit. Leviticus pre-dates any oppression of Jews by Romans or Greeks.
It makes me so sad to see Yvonne Strahovski connected to an inevitable bomb like I, Frankenstein. It's good she's getting work, unlike so many actors, but she should really be a star. Aaron Eckhart can afford a bomb, but as a woman in Hollywood, Strahovski's time to break out is running pretty short. :(
I agree with this. We shouldn't sanitize history to make ourselves feel better. It doesn't help him, so we should let the conviction stand as a reminder to us of how bigoted we can be.
I agree with a lot of the others, but I'm surprised no one seems to have mentioned Yvonne Strahovski. She can do action:
The premise is Hamm remembering his youth. So Radcliffe is how he remembers himself, not how he actually was. It looks odd, especially in the scenes where they're together, but it does make sense.
Some of that boobage/skin-tight portion is from booth babes. A couple of other commenters have spotted two porn actresses amongst the photos. This says nothing whatsoever about the genuineness of fangirls.
A bunch of sites have mentioned the Women Who Kick Ass panel as being a highlight, but I can't find any video or even detailed reporting on it. Can anyone please help me out with a link or few?
So Laurel's sister survived the shipwreck after all?
